And now on a slightly more serous note… She is beautifully portrayed, with a strong pose and tasteful costume! The colour choices are superb, and the shading is amazing.

The pose just screams nobility and power, yet with a touch of longing. It is almost as if her mate and partner in battle is off in the distance leading another platoon into the chaos of battle and she is reaching to him to tell him that no matter the outcome, her heart will stay with him. It is a beautiful contrast, with her left hand reaching airily with such tenderness, where as the right it tense and raw as it clutches the weapon. One is so soft and tender, the other fierce and powerful.

To add to her, her costume and physic if very attractive but still tasteful. Her proportions are nicely set and not distracting from the picture. There is no question that she is a powerful and intelligent warrior meant to lead and not a possession to be displayed on the pedicel as a trophy.

Further more, the mix of the soft creams and tans, along with the pastel reds and oranges add softness to the peace and keep your attention on those dark and dramatic eyes. The dept of the shading only adds to the effect.

Over all, a beautiful piece.
